What does Your Fundraising Guy actually do?
We are the person in your corner for the whole fundraiser. We help you choose the right campaign approach and timeline, get your group set up on MoneyDolly, brief your leaders and participants so everyone starts together, and stay with you through the final stretch. The campaign itself runs on MoneyDolly; we handle the planning, launch and coaching around it.
How long does it take to get a campaign running?
That depends on your group and how much preparation is already in place. The strategy call is where we work out a realistic timeline for your specific situation rather than promising a number that may not hold.
How much work is this for our coaches and volunteers?
The setup work is front-loaded and we do most of it with you. Once the campaign is live, the day-to-day is participants sharing their own pages rather than volunteers managing inventory, order forms or cash.
When is the best time in the season to fundraise?
Most groups do best starting shortly before their season begins, while attention is high and the schedule has not taken over yet. Season dates vary by sport and by state, so we plan the window around your actual calendar.
What happens if the campaign stalls?
That is exactly what we are here for. We watch participation and progress with you and suggest concrete adjustments — a challenge, a push to a specific group, a reminder at the right moment — rather than leaving you to figure it out alone.
How does our group receive the money?
Funds raised come to your group through the MoneyDolly platform once the campaign is complete. Specific terms, timing and any applicable fees are set by MoneyDolly and are covered during setup.
