Fundraising options

Donations, products, or both.

Three genuinely different campaigns. Which one fits depends on your group, your community and how much time your volunteers have — not on which one sounds most impressive.

  • Donations

    Let supporters contribute directly.

    • Supporters give any amount from a participant page
    • Nothing to store, deliver or hand out
    • Fastest campaign to set up and launch
  • Products

Give supporters products they actually want.

    • Supporters get something in return for taking part
    • Familiar to families used to traditional fundraisers
    • Works well for community-facing groups
  • Both

Combine donations and products in the same fundraising strategy.

    • Supporters choose how they want to help
    • Reaches people who would skip a product-only campaign
    • One campaign, one dashboard, one goal

Questions

Choosing between them

Straight answers, including the ones without a comfortable number attached.

Should we run donations, products, or both?

Donations are the fastest to set up and have nothing to distribute. Products give supporters something in return and feel familiar to families used to traditional fundraisers. Combining both lets each supporter choose. We will walk through which fits your group on the strategy call.

How does participant sharing work?

Each participant gets their own page on MoneyDolly to share with family and friends. Contributions made through that page count toward both their personal progress and the group total.

Do we still have to handle cash and envelopes?

Supporters give digitally through the platform, so there is far less cash to collect, count and reconcile than in a traditional paper fundraiser.

What does this cost?

Pricing and platform terms are set by MoneyDolly and confirmed with you before anything launches. We will not quote a number here that could be out of date by the time you read it — ask on the strategy call and you will get the current answer.
