Year-round

One league. One campaign. Every team.

Youth leagues usually end up with a dozen separate fundraisers competing in the same town for the same supporters, run by whichever parent volunteered. A single league-wide campaign with per-team tracking reaches further, is far less work for volunteers, and lets the league fund shared costs — fields, umpires, insurance, equipment — instead of leaving each team to fend for itself.

When to run it

Youth leagues run across all four seasons depending on the sport. Registration is the moment families are already engaged and is usually the right launch point.

Why this sport is different

The specific things that shape a campaign here.

  • Stop competing with yourself

Twelve teams asking the same community twelve times is worse for every team than one coordinated campaign with team-level tracking.

  • Volunteer effort drops sharply

One setup, one launch, one set of instructions — instead of every team manager inventing their own fundraiser from scratch.

  • Fund what the league actually pays for

Fields, umpires, insurance and equipment are league costs. A league campaign can name them, which team-by-team efforts never can.

What we would suggest

A starting plan. The details change once we see your calendar and your roster.

  • Launch at registration, while every family is already in the system
  • Give each team its own leaderboard inside one league-wide goal
  • Fund a specific shared cost and say plainly what it is
  • Recruit one campaign lead per team rather than one for the whole league
  • Set a participation target per team so smaller rosters can still win

Questions

Questions from these programs

Straight answers, including the ones without a comfortable number attached.

What kinds of groups can fundraise this way?

School sports teams, school-wide campaigns, youth leagues, travel and club teams, cheer, dance, band and marching band, PTO and PTA groups, and other clubs and community organizations. If your group has participants who can share a page, it fits.

How much work is this for our coaches and volunteers?

The setup work is front-loaded and we do most of it with you. Once the campaign is live, the day-to-day is participants sharing their own pages rather than volunteers managing inventory, order forms or cash.

Do we still have to handle cash and envelopes?

Supporters give digitally through the platform, so there is far less cash to collect, count and reconcile than in a traditional paper fundraiser.

How does our group receive the money?

Funds raised come to your group through the MoneyDolly platform once the campaign is complete. Specific terms, timing and any applicable fees are set by MoneyDolly and are covered during setup.
