Fall & club season

Fund the away trips before the first serve.

Volleyball programs carry a heavy travel load relative to their roster size — tournaments most weekends, entry fees due in advance, and a club season that overlaps the school one. The families are already paying for club. A well-timed team campaign takes the pressure off those same families instead of adding to it.

When to run it

School volleyball generally starts in August; club season runs from late fall into spring. A few states split girls and boys volleyball across fall and spring, so the campaign window follows your association calendar rather than a national default.

Why this sport is different

The specific things that shape a campaign here.

  • Travel is the budget

Entries, hotels and meals for a tournament weekend dwarf equipment costs. We size the goal against the actual schedule.

  • Relieve the families already paying

Club fees mean the parent group is tapped out before school season starts. A campaign that reaches beyond the parents is the difference.

  • A short, sharp window

Volleyball seasons move fast. A two-week campaign with a clear end date outperforms an open-ended one every time.

What we would suggest

A starting plan. The details change once we see your calendar and your roster.

  • Launch in the preseason, close before the first tournament weekend
  • Combine varsity and JV so the participant pool is large enough to matter
  • Set the goal against a specific tournament the team wants to attend
  • Use match nights as natural checkpoints for the leaderboard
  • Give seniors a leadership role in the campaign, not just a share link

Questions

Questions from these programs

Straight answers, including the ones without a comfortable number attached.

When is the best time in the season to fundraise?

Most groups do best starting shortly before their season begins, while attention is high and the schedule has not taken over yet. Season dates vary by sport and by state, so we plan the window around your actual calendar.

What keeps participants engaged after the first week?

MoneyDolly includes daily challenges, leaderboards and reward milestones. These give participants something specific to act on and make progress visible, which is usually what separates a campaign that keeps moving from one that goes quiet.

Should we run donations, products, or both?

Donations are the fastest to set up and have nothing to distribute. Products give supporters something in return and feel familiar to families used to traditional fundraisers. Combining both lets each supporter choose. We will walk through which fits your group on the strategy call.

What does this cost?

Pricing and platform terms are set by MoneyDolly and confirmed with you before anything launches. We will not quote a number here that could be out of date by the time you read it — ask on the strategy call and you will get the current answer.
